The proprietor gave us a nice welcome upon our arrival with a complementary drink and snack. She also happily lent me an iron when I asked for one.
Our room was very clean and bed was comfortable.
Taitung Venice B&B is located on a main street handy to lots of places to eat, but our room was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the Western (ish) style breakfast, which set us up nicely for the day.
Free parking was available nearby, which was handy.
It was all good although there is no elevator. However, they offered to carry our bags up but we were fine doing that ourselves.
