Stunning view at Quinta da Carvalha

The view is stunning, very good location, quiet and calm. The bungallow has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

No air conditioning, not easy to access if you have a big car.

Not as expected.

Location is nice within the national park and close to some restaurants. Check in was remote but it was fine enough with clear instructions.

We only stayed one out of the two we had booked because we didn’t feel comfortable staying for longer. When we arrived there was mould in the ceiling and one of the pillows. We also found a used tampon wrapper on the bathroom floor. The hotel would not listen to our feedback and said their cleaner inspected the room and found it up to their cleaning code. The hotel was cheap but we still except basic housekeeping and a mould free room. Stay somewhere else.
