Wonderful, relaxed experience, personalised by generosity of host. We loved our little cottage in the garden. Clean, comfortable, quiet plus a sense of history.

Our stay was excellent!
We stayed in the 'tiny house,' which is very pleasant and comfortable. The location is stunning, spectacular, and has a truly interesting history.
The host was the best we have ever had! Super attentive, kind, and provided us with a comprehensive itinerary filled with tips on what to do, where to visit, and where to eat. He was also great at pointing out what is actually worth visiting and what isn’t. Believe us, you should trust his recommendations!
The breakfast is delicious, with homemade items.
Oh, and we can’t forget to mention the 'second host,' the very friendly dog!

The host really made us get the most out of Amboise and the Loire Valley.
Only wish there were outlet/chargers near each bed, we use our phones for alarms and white noise to sleep and it was a challenge to have a phone near your bed.

The location was perfect. Liked the grand approach to the apartment. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Shared a lot of information which was helpful for our sight seeing. His pride for his city and country was inspiring. The pet dog, snook, was great. We warmed up to him really quickly.
The rooms were very tiny, smaller than what appears in the photos, access to the rooms was a steep staircase outside the house, which made it difficult to climb with luggage and for the elderly person with us. The breakfast missed any form of protein. The kitchen was closed on 1 of nights where we needed access to some plates and cutlery
