The location directly by the sea is very beautiful, with very clean water. The view from the balcony is great. The apartment is nice and clean. Good air conditioning. The manager was very friendly. Restaurants and bars are just outside the place.
The apartment advertised on booking was not available anymore, so I had to take another, more expensive one. I could not pay with credit card but had to pay in cash, which added to the already high cost, as I had to withdraw from ATM and pay the fees, which were much higher than credit card fees would have been. The wifi was rather weak and the internet connection very slow, making it impossible to professionally work with the provided connection - you have to use your own mobile connection. Perhaps this is a problem for the whole region, but it added to my frustration. As I was traveling in the peak season, the noise level at night is enormous. Due to the surrounding bars and clubs, you get VERY loud music until shortly after midnight from all sides, every night.
