Whilst room is basic (what else do you need other than a bed and good shower) , it was very clean in the room and everywhere else in the gasthaus.
Breakfast was goog too!
A little bit of music could break the somewhat awkward silence at breakfast 😊

Das Hotel besteht aus einfacher und ehrlicher Unterkunft und Gaststätte im schönen Prümtal. Hier ist der Hund begraben. aber deshalb kommt man auch hier her. Der Gasthof bietet eine ausreichend umfangreiche Karte und ist empfehlenswert. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber funktionell und sauber. Das Frühstück kostet 7 € und ist, wie das gesamt Arangement, einfach und gut. Es gibt ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze. Das Hotel scheint auch bei Bikern beliebt zu sein.
Man kann von Holsthum aus Wanderungen und Radtouren starten oder, wie ich zur Teufelssschlucht bei Iller fahren. Meine Empfehlung unten an der Prüm-Hängebrücke parken und hochlaufen (250 Höhenmeter). Kurzstrecke vom Parkplatz Dinosaurierpark, kostet 4 €. Ausflüge nach Echternacht und das Chateau Beaufort bieten sich an.

Cadre du village agréable.
Il n’y a pas de réception. On a été accueilli, à notre arrivée à 20h, par le personnel de cuisine qui nous a donné une chambre au hasard ne correspondant pas à la chambre réservée. Il a fallu pratiquement une heure pour se faire comprendre grâce à l’aide d’un client faisant la traduction au bar (français - allemand) afin d’avoir notre chambre.
Le petit déjeuner étant possible à partir de 8h, nous n’avons pas eu la possibilité de le prendre car nous partions en randonnée.
