Beautiful house with quirky features and lots of character.
Couple of stains on the sheets but we weren’t that upset! Just a note for future but wouldn’t put me off booking again.

The house is quirky, eclectic and interesting, with lots of wood and charm. The garden is lovely and available to enjoy. The host was lovely and friendly. The shared kitchen facilities were good and clean.
The location is questionable. There is an incredibly steep driveway which is fine if you are young and fit, not it you are not. Lugging cases up and down an extremely steep driveway of about 30m is no fun. This was not clearly mentioned in the Booking.com advert. I checked the guesthouse website and it is mentioned right at the end of the writeup.
Although the advert mentioned a private bathroom, what is not clear, is that the bathroom is downstairs from the bedroom we stayed in, and through a common area, so going to the toilet at night down a rickety staircase, passing a kitchen was not comfortable.
