house is lovely and room beautiful
beautiful, but not functional for us: no soundproofing so quite noisy in the ground floor royal suite with what sounded like power tools going strong up to 11pm and then sleeping past 7am wasn't really an option as breakfast setup could be heard followed by all subsequent noise from guests dining.
The hanging bathroom door which is quite a feature in the room allowed for a direct view to the toilet from the bed and light to shine into the sleeping area for any nocturnal bathroom visits which unfortunately are a way of life for older guests.
