La Florida felt like my second home. First, as a solo female, I felt beyond safe and exploring the neighbourhood. The owners and staff made my stay very special for the 2 weeks I stayed with them. They took very good care of me and were always helpful and interested in what I was up to. The breakfast they prepared was so yummy and filling. I loved beautiful views from my room and balcony. The nights were quiet, beds comfortable and rooms sparkling clean. The wifi was strong and they had snacks and bottled water available for purchase. They offer laundry services and stored my luggage for me. I loved it here and will miss it so much.

Luis and his wife Silvia are the owners. They were amazing hosts. So kind. Their hotel was clean and comfortable. And right in historic city center. It felt very safe. They even helped us out by doing some laundry for us.

Good location within Urumbamba, very nice rooms and a nice courtyard. Personnel very responsive, friendly and responsive.
The breakfast was not as great as described by other travelers. Great eggs/ omelets but no fruit, cheese or muesli.
