Exceptional

The location is beautiful and surrounded by ricefields with less traffic around. Yoga and his family were very friendly and we felt a little bit like a part of their everyday-life, which was really nice. This is definitely a homestay we“ll keep in mind. We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful cottage with private pool, overlooking rice terraces

We travelled from Australia and really enjoyed ourselves. We had our own private pool, the room was spacious and very warm and inviting. An easy place to relax while overlooking the rice terraces. Definitely a highlight of our trip :). It’s outside of main Ubud, but tbh this is still a positive, go for a walk early morning - the surrounding area is beautiful and very relaxing. You’ll see lots of rice terraces and farmland. And there’s some nice boutique things to do, noticed cooking lessons, Thai restaurants to eat at, and of course the Tegalalang rice terraces are a must see. The owners are very nice and gave us tonnes of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area.

We were happy with staying at this villa!

Nice villa! The location is pretty good, it is 5 min from Ubud but there is no noise from traffic, very calm atmosphere like in the village. Staff is the best in our traveling experience. They remembered our names at the first day. Every day they offered tea and coffee free and clean the room very properly. It is convenient that everything is in one place. You can eat at the Restaurant, rent a bike and give clothes to laundry. At the restaurant there is very tasty Thai food. We recommend Tom Kha Kai, Pad Tai noodles and many fresh juice flavors! By the way, the breakfast included was pretty nice too (5 options).

Good signal of wi-fi but sometimes there were some problems with connection. But if you use Internet not for work it would be fine!

gorgeous property, the staff are SO LOVELY. wonderful area, quiet but close to Ubud, lots of rice fields and restaurants nearby.

steep walk down to the villas, they have little steps in place and we had no issue but if you have trouble walking may be something to consider!

great for a quiet night and nice area to walk around

What an incredible stay with the loveliest hosts. We can’t wait to come back next time we are in Ubud.

I liked the fact that it was quite far from the crowd. The perfect place to relax, almost makes you feel like you’re going back in time.

The pillows could be softer.

Staff made everything possible to make the stay enjoyable even though facility needs upgrade

Exceptional customer service, Panoramic views to rice paddocks, very affordable

Bathroom too small needs plumbing upgrade and repairs. Some of the furniture in the lounge was too old and require replacement

Fantastic value. A hidden gem!

Everything! The place is gorgeous, the staff are superb and the food is delicious (I recommend having a meal at the restaurant and not only breakfast). A real gem!

Good experience for those, who want to make a step out of comfort.

Interesting location in the middle of the small rice terrace, definitely not for lovers of luxury and complete comfort. Very kind staff. Extra bonus - every day on the table of our terrace we found thermos with hot water for tea and coffee (also can refill). Cleanliness - acceptable; breakfast - good silence level - only sounds of nature. As such - 6/10 Value for money - 10/10 Overall - 8

High humidity (what else to expect if you are in the middle of the rice terraces). The villa as such is quite "tired".

Fantastic guesthouse in Ubud rice fields!

The guesthouse is very nice and the hosts were so nice and helpful to us! They even helped us solve a health situation we had. Breakfast is good, as well as the location in the middle of the rice fields.

A villa that exceeded my expectations and would go back again for the serene rural scenery!

Staffs would occasionally check the outdoor coffee area and would refill immediately when they see any dirty cups/coffee powder that needs refilling. The toast they have for breakfast is out of this world and the best I've had in Ubud. Also very quick room service and I liked they have option to pay for laundry as well.

Just a minor issue that is outside the villa's control but it is advisable not to leave any food in the room/keep the luggage closed if there's any souvenirs/food inside as a lot of ants managed to get inside my friend's souvenir which was packed in plastic/unopened and the ants still managed to bit inside. As the room is made of wood and styled "rural-y" it is expected for gaps underneath the door/floor so need to pay extra attention for this! There aren't much "warungs" nearby so if you want to eat outside you may need to go to Ubud Central city area for that.

Pretty quiet stay near many rice terraces

Beautiful spot, nice room with a good balcony with a view. It was nice to explore the area around it which has rice terraces and a waterfall which had no tourists. Breakfast is also always a plus.

Definately take your own transport here. There was no real way of getting around otherwise and the staff was not really prepared to rent motos or bikes easily.

Amazing and rejuvenating

The view is amazing, on the property and around, with the ricefields, the sunrise and sunset. There is a nice breeze as well :) The staff is amazing, kind and helpful. Thank you Desa, Yoga, Amy and your family! The peace and calm of this place is so rejuvenating... 🙏 They serve a good breakfast, they have hot water, mosquito net...everything you need! Good but bad

I was booking the private villa with pool and was inviting friends to come over for a drink and pool during the day time but the staff came over knocking the door and mentioned the villa is only for 2 persons what the bad experience it was and unpleasent, the breakfast is very poor only nasi goreng no coffee or tea to accompanied you have to pay extra for its it

We loved our stay in this homestay a lot! The room was clean and surrounded by beautiful rice paddy fields; the family and staff were all super friendly and helpful. The area around the homestay is stunning too (not too far from a lovely waterfall). Highly recommended!
