The rooms have undergone a modernisation with new facilities and bedding etc., The gardens were being worked on while we were there - I look forward to seeing the finished gardens,
Other guests smoked outside their rooms in the afternoon and into the evening causing us to keep the door+windows closed at all times. We spoke to the receptionist suggesting they erect "no smoking signs" and a dedicated smoking area away from the rooms which they were responsive to.
