Canareef Resort Maldives

Our stay was absolutely amazing. My wife and I stayed at Canareef for our honeymoon, and we genuinely had a wonderful time. Choosing this resort was definitely one of the best decisions we made. One of the things we loved most was the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and kind, and they always made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. I would especially like to thank Ibrahim, who was always there for us during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. His service and attitude really made our experience even better. If you’re looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to spend your honeymoon and simply relax and enjoy your time together, I highly recommend Canareef. The resort is even more beautiful in reality than it looks in the Booking.com photos—the pictures honestly don’t do it justice. The resort itself is wonderful, and the island is absolutely beautiful. If we get the chance to visit again for our anniversary, my wife and I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to choose Canareef again. We truly loved our stay and would happily come back.

Room and facilities

The setting was great with close proximity to everything you could need/want, including a buggy service to take you from your room to wherever you wanted to go. The buffet had so many options, you'd find it hard not to find something to eat. Staff were all lovely.

The bed was extremely hard. However, when we mentioned this to the cleaner, he found some cushion tops for the mattresses. The other 'picky' negative would be the size of the resort. The island is 4km in length and the resort fills the whole island. That's a lot of space to get around. I say I'm being picky here as there are transport options from bikes to buggy's, but it is a big resort.
