This is a relatively new hotel and the pictures do it justice. well furnished and immaculately kept. The staff are very helpful although NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH they are good with Babal and were able to book taxis for us etc . Cleaning is constant even shampooing the carpets regularly. Tea making facilities a small shop on site to get milk etc. THe food in the restaurant was very good and inexpensive by comparison with the prices in the malls and shanghai city center. but it finished at 8.30pm and I mean finished so you had to order by no later than 8pm. They were not bothered about bringing food into the hotel and there is a constant stream takeaway food arriving. the rooms are large and air conditioned at no extra cost. Beds comfortable and large windows on the front olf the building give a good airy feel to the room. although one room we saw was internal and had no view at all.
There were no facilities in the room other than a kettle;le, a fridge wood be good to keep milk fresh in and drinks cool. no outside areas to sit and relax no pool sauna etc but you get what you pay for.
