Initially, I booked for 2 nights but then ended up staying for 6 nights.
The property is located very near to the popular walking street. There were a lot of good cafes in the walking distance. It is a quiet and beautiful place, with birds chirping in the morning and a lot of greenery. Common room was a comfortable place to sit, work and read from a collection of books there. There were reclining chair and hammock in the garden. Wifi was decent, I took a few video work calls. There was a well-functioning kitchen available with microwave, toaster, tea/coffee, utensils, water, refridgerator, etc.
The best thing that I liked about the place was the hosts. It is run by a sweet and elderly couple. The husband speaks good english but wife doesn't. They rent out scooters as well.
Not able to think of anything worth mentioning. May be one thing. The bathrooms were a little old and not as fancy as I have observed in other hostels while travelling in Thailand. But it didn't bother me at all.

I could not fault my stay at Baan Mai Sak. From start to finish our hosts ensured we had everything we needed, and that we were comfortable and happy. It felt more as if we were guests in a home rather than a hostel. The female dorm was so spacious, clean and bright. Comfortable beds and I slept so well. The hostel had such a lovely community feel, with a porch and hammocks out the front. Ideal location, only a few minutes from the walking street but removed enough to be quiet. Everyone staying in the hostel was so friendly and kind. I would highly recommend this hostel!
Nothing at all!

Lovely warm host, nice outdoor chill space, excellent location, great recommendations
Bed and pillow very uncomfortable, top bunk no curtain and only main room big light.. they could spend a few baht and get some new pillows and a room lamp would make a big difference.
