Beautiful house. It feels like how a communal Hanok stay should be. Owner speak good English and is very kind.
I wanted to wash my clothes but he insisted he did it for me. Also suggested some places to see, one of which I didn’t spot.
Probably best if I stayed one more day, two was bit too short
Didn’t see any other guests. My airconditioner refused to turn off.

Great location and kind owner/manager. No frills but charming and great location to experience Hanok Village, food and sights. Shower is a sink hookup but that’s the case for nearly all the retrofit hanok stays. AC worked great and futons in room were comfortable. Don’t miss eating at Namcheon Maru next door - best restaurant we ate at in the entire area.
Unnecessary large refrigerator in room - would be better to have a chair or something.

The location of this place is great. It is really close to a some of the key attractions like palace but the real treat for me was how close this was from the Daehak-ro which is called the Broadway of South Korea! The place is full of good food, amazing public transport connection and a lot of theatre and art option to explore from.
The owners are friendly and helpful. They both speak enough English to help you with suggestions. The place is close from the public transport but still on a quiet road.
I honestly did not have a problem with it as I was expecting a proper Hanok experience but be mindful the bedding is on the floor and it is not everyone's cup of tea. I was expecting it so it did not lower my experience.

Located on the edge of the hanok village with all the sights an easy walk from the guesthouse
Owner was v friendly and helpful - but limited English spoken
Good value for money if you just want somewhere to sleep for a night
Shower over the sink and no curtain so the whole bathroom was soaked after use
I realise this is probably my mistake but the traditional mattress on the floor for sleeping was very very uncomfortable and the mattress was not as thick as I expected (I was expecting a futon style mattress) I wasn't hoping for luxury but even so this was a hard night's sleep....we left a night early to get back to a 'proper' bed
