Disfrutamos mucho de la estancia. El personal muy atento. La habitación era amplia y siempre limpia. Nos dejaron bicicletas para recorrer la isla y toallas de playa.

The hotel answered all our questions and secured a speed boat ticket for us. We were met at the harbour and taken in a buggy to the hotel, where we were greeted with free coconut drink and chilled wet face towels to cool down after travel. We were also pleased to find out that the hotel accepts old dollars (before 2009), because not every one in the Maldives does. The host was very welcoming and helpful, and also kind enough to take us on a little trip around the island just to show us where everything was. The hotel rooms were being cleaned every day, there was a shampoo and a shower gel in the bathroom (although no bar soap, no toothbrushes and no toothpaste, but we had our own ones, so it wasn't a problem). There was also plenty of towels (including the beach ones), and they were changed daily. Furthermore, the room had an electric kettle, tea-bags, sugar and coffee sticks. Drinking water was always available and we were offered free coffee whenever we want. The room had enough space and furniture to place all our belongings. The hotel also has its own loungers on the beach, so we didn't have to worry about coming early to get one. And a super cool feature was the unlimited access to fins and masks for free! That's really amazing, because there's plenty of colourful fishes in the water, we couldn't stop watching them. Small sharks, rays, dolphins and sea turtles were also frequent guests near our beach. And if that isn't enough, the hotel also offers excursions to the nearby UNESCO biosphere reserve. The prices are high enough, but I was lucky to see about 25 manta rays and even Her Majesty Whale Shark, so I think it was worth it! My friend went on a another day though and was less lucky: she only saw 5 mantas and no shark. But you can inquire in advance what your chances are, as the guides monitor their activity in real time. Overall it was an amazing stay and I wanna say thank you to all the hotel stuff, the host and the guides.
A major drawback was that big cockroaches appeared twice in our bathroom behind the toilet, despite all the windows being closed. We called the manager, he put them away, sprayed the place with some bug spray, left the spray for us to use and apologised, but still it was an unpleasant experience and we sincerely hope that the hotel will do something to avoid such incidents in the future.
A few minor things: 1) We'd been told that a hotel representative would meet us at the airport holding a sign with our names on it, but among many people with signs awaiting at the airport, there was nobody with our names on the sign, nor at least with the name of our hotel. However, some people were really helpful, so it wasn't much of a problem, they pointed us in the right direction and contacted out hotel, so everything got sorted out in the end. 2) On Booking we requested two separate twin beds and our request was confirmed, but when we arrived we still found the beds put together to make one king-size bed. When we pointed that out, the stuff fixed it though, so it was fine in the end. 3) Maybe it was my mistake, but somehow from the Booking website I got the impression that the breakfast that was included in the price was gonna be a buffet. In reality, we stayed at the hotel for 8 days, and it wasn't until the 5th day of our stay (when more guests arrived) that we finally got the buffet breakfast. Before that we'd been server pretty much the same stuff every day, maybe because there'd been only two of us. The food was fine, although not very diverse: mas huni (traditional Maldivian dish), omelette, bread, muffins and fruit, plus water, juice and tea/coffee to drink. The buffet table also included sausages and chicken nuggets, so that was at least something to choose from, would've been nice to have that from the start.

Tout était très bien, le personnel est très professionnel et très accueillant. Les chambres sont grandes et bien équipées. Le ménage est fait tout les jours. Des excursions sont proposées tous les jours. Merci John pour votre gentillesse et votre bienveillance. Les patrons sont également toujours là pour voir si le séjour est confortable
