The room was comfortable and spacious, the beds were fine. The kitchenfacilities in the room were perfect, also the cleaning service every day.
Very friendly personell, breakfast very well provided.
The green part of the garden is beautiful and well mantained.
The hotel and facilities need to be maintained and renewed.
A lot of people visit the swimming pool, therefor it get's very crowdy in the afternoon and there is not enough place for quests.
Mentioning all this, the price is a bit high though.

We loved that our junior suit was spacious, with a nice view of the pool. Overall Friendly staff. The thing that keeps us going back to jacana is their gardens... and the sound of the waterfall is so peaceful.
Their was a particular staff member during breakfast who treated guests like children. I'm sure she meant well, but it didn't come across as professional.
And you could tell that other guest were annoyed about her behavior.
My advice to this lady: ask before you assume, and don't treat people like they're kindergarten children. Sometimes over-friendlyness can come across as very annoying.
Another thing, normally the sauna and the jacuzzi are complementary for hotel guest. That is not the case at jacana. So you're only complimentary options are swimming or strolling through the gardens.
The aquarium has some beautiful and huge fishes, but please it needs to be cleaned. You can barely see anything.

1.Breakfast was very POOR ,First day saltfish ,Stuffed Karela with chicken ,Cheese and asked for egg Omelet.
with 3 types of fruits ,coffee .No Desert
2. Pool is beautiful
3.Room is nice ,but need a better up keep .One of the light was missing a cover for the Light
Order from the Restaurant need a take away box i had to pay SRD 25 apart for that .
Menu was lacking of a lot ,missing items . Just a bar at the pool no proper dinning room.
Booking online give you one prize and when you go there the prize is higher than Booking ,let say if i couldn't afford the difference.
I choose thereto celebrate my Husband birthday thinking we will stay there and have everything we needed but was not so had to go out for dinner for his birthday .
