Great view but that’s all folks!

The location is nice & the view outside was wonderful.

Parking is awful & not explained fully when booked. The location of the hidden key in the lockbox was hard to find. No actual front door to use, you go through an old sliding door that was hard to open/close & did not want to lock. When you finally do manage to get in, you are hit with a musty smell. The furniture is tired, outdated. The towels in the bathroom are the same way. There’s also a weird sewage smell in there too. Upstairs there’s low ceilings. I’m 6 foot tall & hit my head several times. More outdated tired furniture & a bed practically sitting on the floor. Also a bed bug treatment packet fell out of the mattress. Why am I not surprised? We did not use the shower facility since the towels were gross. Left early the next day and never looked back. We stayed all over Europe for 3 weeks, this by far was the worst experience we had.

Superbly Located for Etretat Cliffs and Bay

We booked this property at the last moment after our long-standing booking with a local hotel was cancelled with 4 days' notice. We're so glad they did(!) because this flat occupies a superb location, directly overlooking the bay and cliffs at Etretat. Once the day-trippers depart in the late afternoon, the place falls quiet, when you get to enjoy the bay at the best times for light in both morning and evening. The flat was comfortable and ideal for our short stay.

Ventilation could be improved in the rear kitchen and bathroom areas of this deep flat. Apart from a very few restaurants serving 'real' food, most places in Etretat serve tourist menus of pizza, burgers, chips, crêpes and waffles. If you want to cook for yourself, the kitchen is simply equipped, and Etretat has only a few small food shops, a minor branch of a national supermarket chain, and a modest market.

Location, good design and furniture. Amazing view from the bed on the second floor.

The bedroom isn’t isolated, so you can hear everything in the apartment, but this is a price for the design feature.

Positionnement incroyable dans Étretat, front de mer et logement très agréable avec vue imprenable en direct du canapé et du lit

Attention, un peu bruyant car collé au restaurant le Homard bleu, mais on vous recommande de manger la bas c’est délicieux !
