Location was excellent to be able to walk to all main attractions as long as you can walk without aids - Apartment was very clean & very spacious for four adults - Each couple had their own space & bathrooms with showers - We will stay here again when we return to Budapest - Contact with the owner via WhatsApp was very easy & response was very quick
We struggled to find the main door into the apartments on arrival & needed the help of the host via phone call to find the front door to shared communal areas - Once we were inside the communal door the directions were very easy to the apartment

The apartment was superb - plenty of space, very comfortable (beds in particular). Beautifully presented. Very near main train station where we arrived in the city.

The apartment is exceptionally spacious and was ideal for our family. Our daughter had her own bedroom, there was an additional shower and toilet, and the kitchen was very well equipped with a washing machine, oven, hob, microwave and full-size fridge. The location is excellent, with public transport right outside the building and plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Unfortunately, the apartment did not meet our expectations in terms of cleanliness. Before our arrival, I contacted the owner after reading similar reviews. He kindly assured me that he would personally check the apartment, but we still found the washing machine covered in mould, the fridge and counters dirty, and the toaster greasy. Both shower drains were also partially blocked, causing water to accumulate while showering.
The owner offered to send the cleaner back, which I declined because we had already unpacked and felt the apartment should have been properly cleaned before our arrival. Despite this, cleaners entered the apartment while we were out without our permission. They only cleaned the kitchen sink area and left a new sponge. Them entering without permission made us feel unsafe during our stay. In addition, the wardrobes were largely occupied by towels and bed linen (which did not seem clean), leaving limited space for our belongings.
The biggest disappointment was the air conditioning. The apartment has portable air conditioners, which were extremely noisy and required the windows to remain partially open for the exhaust hoses. This meant we also had constant traffic noise from the busy street in one of the bedrooms. Sleeping comfortably was very difficult, especially during the hot weather. Old saggy matresses did not help in getting a good night's sleep either.
Overall, this apartment has great potential thanks to its size, facilities and excellent location, but the standards of cleanliness and the cooling system need significant improvement.
