Staff muito atencioso, ficamos até constrangido pois estão atentos a tudo e te chamam pelo nome. Alimentação parecendo masterchef. Opções sem glúten e sem lácteos são excelentes e só solicitar.

Achei que o instrutor do Safari poderia ter sido mais amigável. Parecia que fazia apenas o mínimo. Não interagia. Observamos que tinham outros instrutores mais interessados que interagiam com os hóspedes. Os nossos conversavam entre si e não nos davam atenção. Penso que teria que ter um treinamento pois havia muita discrepância entre os instrutores. Era triste comprarar e não poder mudar. Pois te dão os instrutores e não troca até o final da viagem. Diferente do pessoal do restaurante e limpeza em que todos eram muito bons e te tratavam de modo parecido.

The game drives were outstanding and our guide Michael was a real expert who was well qualified and knowledgeable in this area. Beyond that the food was fantastic and the atmosphere in and around the lodge was very relaxed and enjoyable. The trip was very smooth and exceeded our expectations. We will be back.

I cannot recommend Kapama River Lodge and Kapama Private Game Reserve highly enough. From airport pick up to airport drop off, my entire experience was faultless. My sister and I are from Australia and spent 5 nights at Kapama River Lodge staying in a luxury suite and completed 10 game drives (5 morning and 5 afternoon/evening). The accommodation was nothing short of 5 star. The room was stunning - the king sized bed was comfortable and the bathroom extremely spacious, with the decor modern and stylish. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was exceptional. Breakfast was buffet style continental plus al la carte. Lunch was al la carte as was dinner. We aren’t big drinkers but the wine we tried was all excellent. The service at meal times was impeccable with our waitress knowing our names and remembering our drink orders. The food at afternoon tea prior to the game drives was also amazing. There was a range of fruits, sweets and drinks daily, including an incredible chef made cake which was always a work of art. Whilst we were at Kapama River Lodge, we booked two spa treatments at The Wellness Centre - a 90 minute massage and a facial. Both were more than reasonably priced for a resort of this type and were sooooo good. The adults only pool was lovely to use before and after treatments too with incredible views across the property and frequent animal sightings. The skin and body care products available for purchase were also reasonably priced and we purchased some products. The common areas of the property from the pools to leisure areas were also stunning. And the gardens were immaculate. Our game drives exceeded our expectations. Staying for 5 nights allowed us to see everything we wanted to plus more, including 5/5 of the big five, 4/5 of the ugly five, the usual suspects and so much more, multiple times. Not a single game drive disappointed.

The hotel is very comfortable and it provides an amazing service to the guests. Food is also delicious! The Safari experience was just amazing!!! We saw all big 5 animals of Africa, and our drivers were incredible. Strongly recommended!

The room was perfect! So stylish but cosy, modern and earthy. The bathroom was my favourite! We had the most incredible stay, our waitress Florence was attentive and friendly. Our guides Panic and Godsave made our experience even better, they went above and beyond to track anything and everything, hearing all of their amazing stories was fabulous, their knowledge and tracking talents were so impressive, it was incredible to witness! The game drives were absolutely amazing, though it was chilly in the morning, the hot water bottles and blankets were an amazing touch. All of our 6 game drives were incredible, I still can’t believe how close we got to the rhinos and lions, it was the highlight of our honeymoon trip! Would 100% recommend!
