On Nebo Road at the back of the hotel with a bistro. Easy access to the city and attractions. Spacious rooms

The place was incredible, had plenty of space, was super clean and the beds were extremely comfy. I stayed 3 nights and was provided a completely continental breakfast which was lovely. The kitchen had good resources and the place was really nice. The restaurant in the hotel was also lovely, I ate there my first night and the food was really really good. Also very conveniently located, I didn’t have a car, but the bus stop was right on the corner, and there was service stations right nearby if I needed anything else.
The only thing I would have liked was perhaps a chain lock or some kind of safety lock on the inside of the door, just for an extra sense of security, especially being a person travelling alone. However, in saying that, at no point did I feel unsafe, the staff were all very lovely and accommodating and the hotel manager even walked me to my room to show me where it was. Maybe installing those chain locks or something could make guests feel a little bit more safe but other than that the place is incredible!

Choice of pillow high or low. Mini bar if you need. One free contadental breakfast supplied and others were available to be purchased. Restaurant adjoined the motel so no need to drive. They had a qcode in the room with information about the facilities and local area.

I’ve stayed at the Shamrock for years. Location is great.
The price has gone up but the quality has dropped.
Only 1 breakfast. (Really)
TV needs upgrading. (No Fox but no smart TV either)
Old washing machines.
Wi Fi is very poor. (Used my own StarLink)
