We were only 5 people but with the 4 bedrooms it was ideal. The house is spacious but simple (don‘t expect European standard on Rapa Nui). It was very convenient to have a washing machine. The kitchen had everything to prepare breakfast or a meal. We were missing an electric toaster and Mini directly bought one for us. She also helped us finding some specific souvenirs. We could see that Mini really tried to make us feel home. We could also stay in the house until she picked us up for the airport.

We had a few cockroaches in the house, but they are everywhere on the island. The road to the house was very bumpy and narrow. There were two dogs from neighbours which were constantly around the house or in front of our doors, but they were not unfriendly.

This was a great place to stay for our family of 7. Heaps of room in a quiet residential neighbourhood but an easy 10 minute walk into town. The Cabana is basic but had everything we needed. If you are looking for a 5 star experience then stay in a hotel but if you want a more local experience then I highly recommend a stay here. Our host Mini went out of her way to help us which was really lovely. She even took one family member to the hospital to help with the language barrier. Mini organised a meet and greet at the airport and also dropped us back on the day of our departure. She helped us hire a car for one day of our stay too. She went above and beyond. We really enjoyed our time on Easter Island and thank Mini for her kindness.

Large, spacious, bright. The owner of the house was very nice! We were greeted at the airport and escorted to the house. Very friendly and hospitable.

Very hot in house at night. We would have loved to have a fan or two for the bedrooms.
