Our stay was amazing!!! Everything was just perfect: the room is super clean and nice, we slept for like 11h straight for the first time of our lives, the beds are super comfy. Patricia and Carmen were super sweet and helpful with us. The whole place is amazing, inside of the jungle. The sound of the crickets, birds, frogs, wow!! That was my favourite part! Just book this hotel right now ❤️
The only thing I didn't like: Leaving! hahaha we wanted to stay more!!

The grounds of the hotel are lovely and we saw a great variety of birds including a number of scarlet macaws. Rooms were ok and in general the place is a little neglected and in need of some investment to make it top notch. This is reflected in the reasonable price paid.

Hidden gem in the forest. The owner / operator was amazing and so kind. She speaks Spanish, English and French. The breakfast was great. You really feel like you’re deep in the forest and it’s very private. Great first stop in Costa Rica. We will return.

The grounds are lovely and the breakfast was nice too. We saw hummingbirds over breakfast but that was about it for wildlife. It was only a 10 minute drive to carara national park which was good. The bed was comfy enough and you can park right outside your room which is a lodge like building.
The rooves are made of metal so are loud in the rain and there were quite large bugs in the room. There was a kettle and coffee maker but no tea or coffee in the room so you would need to bring your own supplies if you wanted something.
