the owners were very nice and the room was clean and quiet, nice rural flavor

I was planning to stay in Nelson to pick up a friend in the AM, but all rooms were booked...the room seemed a bit pricey for bathroom down the hall and remote location, need to drive for meals

Location was excellent. Great views and very quiet whilst not being too far from town.

Cost of a continental breakfast at 30 dollars p.p. was just too much. Everything might have been homemade but it still cost far too much. Our room was comfortable but we had to share a shower with another three people…..think that 250 per night was overpriced, especially when compared to other accommodation we enjoyed on our trip.
