Clean rooms. Comfy bed.

It was our second stay and they kindly upgraded us to the room we had the first time! It ticked all my 3 C’s boxes.. Clean, Comfortable, Convenient! Resturant attached was great.. the food basic but delicious!! All the staff are friendly and welcoming. The bed was just so comfortable.. the room spacious with both a front and back door that let in a beautiful breeze. They have a wonderful free continental breakfast. Motel is on spacious grounds and although on the Highway is very quiet.. We pushed on past Rockhampton to stay here.. we loved it so much the first time! It’s our go to stop now.. between Whitsundays and Ipswich..
The stingy shower., it actually hurt when you used it.. very uncomfortable because the water shower head is too fine.. I know it’s saving water but.. there are shower heads and shower heads!!

The staff are exceptional. We were warmly welcomed and our 2 Golden retrievers were also welcomed with great enthusiasm and care. The rooms are great, very comfortable and well maintained. We had dinner at the Homestead restaurant and our pets were also warmly welcomed to be there with us.
This is a fantastic little find and we will definitely return.
The property was great. There was nothing I didn't like.

Bed was comfortable.
Dog urine stains on the carpet. Shower was out of date and dangerous. Tiles in shower were extremely slippery when wet with soap and water. Uneven surface which makes you slip when showering. Very noisy with trains and trucks which made for a sleepless night.
