Convenient , clean, and cheerful. The guests and staff were friendly. Also like that they had covered, secure, bicycle storage

The guest house is just off the Breakwater dome (1 min walk) and very close to the station and bus terminal (4-5 min). Only a little further is the ferry harbour. Great location for any activities you have planned. The check in is smooth and the sleeping areas are comfortable. The kitchen and dining area are spacious enough even during peak season, and everyone is respectful, keeping the spaces clean and ready for the next guest to use
The trash bins (on the sleeping floors as well as the kitchen) overflow quite quickly, would be great to have more frequent turnaround of the garbage bags, or just bigger bins maybe!

The overall facility was amazing and extremely welcoming and warm. I loved the honesty system for drinks and other items at the door.
The only reason im giving a 9 and not a 10 is the pet policy.

The location is perfect being that it is right by the ferry and train stop. I think the community area was nice as well. The overall place was very clean.
I slept on a top bunk bed and there was no blackout curtains on the upper bunk, but all the lower bunks had blackout curtains. I feel like I slept awfully because the lights were still turned on when I needed to sleep. It was also a bit noisy and crowded which didn't help either. There was no staff after 8:00pm so I think that could've been an issue if I needed something after that time.
