Great location, right inside a mall with restaurant, shop and bar options. Riocentro can easily be reached by car. The room was very comfortable.
The shower and wardrobe had some persistent dirt and the gym / sauna had limited opening hours for someone attending a conference during work hours.

Good room, lighting, etc
Air conditioning didn't work, and seemed the hotel already knew, but let us in.
Then, after maintenance came (they just placed a missing part of the air conditioner), it still didn't work, and we asked to move to another room. In the new room, everything was ok.
The breakfast is not good too. Tasteless coffee, low quality fruits and cheese, ham and cakes.

The lobby was nice and the bedroom area was big enough, with plenty of space to walk around the room. Breakfast was amazing! The staff is really nice! definitely, a plus to be inside a mall with access to shopping and restaurants!
The building itself needs some maintenance and upgrades. Corridor rugs and elevator tiles look old, in my room, the baseboard was coming off, and the metal bathroom trash can was oxidized. The pool area was ok but the pool water looked so dirty. They got issues with my room number, and even someone came into my room because they assigned my room to somebody else, and in their computer, they had me with another room number, super weird!

Nice location and have a shopping below makes everything easy.
The hotel is nice, but the bedsheets and towels had a distinct smell, not dirty but not comfy. Also, the room had small issues indicating lack of maintenance.
