Kingsmede Bed & Breakfast

Delicious, hot breakfast. The location was perfect; near to the places that I wanted to visit. Very pleasant owner who is helpful and very competent. I would certainly stay there again and recommend Kingsmede to friends and family

Set in a picturesque little village, this b&b is a charming old building with lovely gardens and quaint decor. It's a small place, with just a few rooms plus common sitting room and garden, so it felt like staying in a family home rather than a hotel. Chris and Kelly are warm and friendly hosts who really care about their guests. It was great chatting with Chris about the local area, history, and animals. When we were sat out in the garden looking at the stars, Kelly came out to bring us some blankets which was very sweet. Breakfast was great and the 'red squirrel room' was cosy and cute, with all the comforts you'd need such as toiletries and fresh milk.

The only thing I didn't like - and I'm being really picky here - was the bed linen. I prefer white sheets and pillowcases over dark colours
