Buen hotel pero no vuelvo!!

Buena ubicación, cama y almohadas cómodas, para tan mal descanso.

El personal de la noche no nos permitió dormir. La primera noche estuvo haciendo aseo de baños y pisos a las 2-3am! La segunda noche no estuvo atento a la puerta y los golpes durante más de 5 minutos de alguien que pretendía entrar pasada la medianoche, nos despertó a todos hasta que un huésped se levantó a abrir. (Recepción 24h?)

Buena excepto por que nos desertaron varias veces en la noche los ruidos

Un perro ladrando , se escuchaban muchos ruidos , a las personas que llegan en la noche tarde o la madrugada

El tamaño de la habitación bastante bueno y la bicación excelente

El parqueadero quedaba a tres cuadras y como estaban cerradas las calles, no fue cómodo el manejo del equipaje. Por la mañana se sentía mucho el ruido del aseo y de los otros huéspedes

i tried asking for a window room accomodation twice. the staff refused to listen. im never staying here again.

the property is part of the villa de leyvas historic architecture.

i didnt like that my hotel room didnt has AC and a window to the outside.

Muy cómodo

Muy buena ubicación el desayuno no es en el mismo hotel pero muy bueno ,

En el baño al bañarse en el otro sifón cerca al lavamanos se desbordaba el agua

Hotel muy caro e incomodo

Los empleados muy amables, buen WIFI

No es confortable, las habitaciones muy pequeñas , dan a un patio interior cubierto por lo cual no tienen luz natural ni ventilación, son oscuras y muy calientes. No tiene comedor hay que ir a un hotel cercano a tomar el desayuno. Mucho ruido en las noches. El hotel no corresponde a la tarifa tan alta que cobran.

Nada. El hotel queda frente a un bar y es imposible descansar.

Es una verdadera pesadilla. El hotel queda frente a un bar y es prácticamente imposible descansar. Especialmente en la habitación 101 y supongo que la 201. Además, cualquier cambio se debe pagar adicional. No les importa sino el dinero y no la satisfacción del cliente. Pésimo y costoso.

Cómodo y con buena ubicación

Se encuentra muy cerca a sitios de interés y comercio en general, el lugar es agradable y la habitación estaba en muy buenas condiciones.

Puede haber un poco de ruido exterior los fines de semana y las habitaciones son compactas y poco iluminadas naturalmente.

Staff was very nice and helpful for the most part, and the restaurant and breakfast was really good too, the food and fruits were very fresh and we really appreciated that

They should be more specific about the costs and requirements for bringing pets, the additional cost wasn't specified, the staff told me he would talk about it with the ones in charge and that depending on what they say they wouldn't charge it, it was charged it in the check out without any other explanation than "you have the pet cost pending" (it wasn't pricey anyways) but I consider communication very important, alsothey wanted to charge it in cash which I refused (it doesn't make sense because I payed everything with my credit card - why is that different?)

Hotel very beautiful and clean, Location is perfect, staffs so helpful, Breakfast at the other place but very close.

If you want the central location and quaint little hotel, don't complain about the short walk!

I really liked this little character-filled hotel and my lovely room with balcony and fabulous bathroom. The room was quite small (bathroom quite large) but had everything I needed. The bed was super-comfortable and pillows, linens and towels of a high quality. The staff were very friendly and always greeted me with a smile. The location is very central to everything. I saw other reviews complaining about the walk to the hotel, but this is same as many others and if you want the central location, it's not enough to complain about. Likewise, I didn't see an issue with the very short walk to the other hotel for breakfast; it was kind of nice to mix it up a bit.

The balcony was nice to have, but was very small and can only really be used to stand and watch up and down the street. I guess this is in keeping with the building style though. Given the location, it was a bit noisy at night, but nothing too bad; besides I was out in the evening contributing to noise for other hotels! :-)

100% would stay there again!

It’s a gorgeous house converted into a hotel. Rooms are large, bathroom / shower clean and recent. The staff is super nice and friendly; check-in and check-out were smooth. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the Plaza Mayor with its church and restaurants.

I found two minor invonveniences. They don’t have the breakfast restaurant on site, we have to go to their sister hotel located just 3 minutes away. There is coffee and water available though! As it’s an old colonial house, there is virtually no sound isolation. From the rooms you can hear everything happening in the patio, hallway or the street.

Amazing!

Great staff, very close to the main square. Luz, the lady who helps out in cleaning and many other things, was very nice and helped us fix an issue very quickly. María also helped us get to the parking spot very easily. People in Villa de Leyva are generally very kind. The hotel is part of a three hotel network, so you have to go to the bigger one to get a very nice breakfast. We enjoyed everything!!

We certainly enjoyed our stay in this quaint colonial hotel.

The hotel website did not indicated that breakfast was included so we had breakfast on the road. Once we arrived to the hotel we learned that two hotels (Campanario de La Villa and Campanario Real) are a consortium with Hotel Jardines de la Villa (where we stayed) and we were informed that breakfast and the swimming pool were availbale at the hotel Campanario de la Villa.

I wish the hotel would be more flexible with the check in time as we traveled three hours to get to Villa de Leyva and were ready for some down time. We knew that our room was available because the doors of the unoccupied rooms remain open and we sure would have benefited from being able to rest for a little bit before starting with the planned tours and activities around the city.

Not good

The shower was really good

We couldn’t get there with the car because the road was closed (this should be warned in advance so visitors know where to go), we had to carry our bags for many blocks and I was with two old people who couldn’t carry their own luggage. Breakfast is in a different building 3 blocks down the road. The pillows were super hard and it was difficult to sleep. Finally, the place is super loud and there is no way you could get any sleep on a Saturday night with people laughing outside and ringing the bell at 3 am.

Great affordable spot for a weekend stay

The location was great!

Parking was far away, no front door access to drop off luggage. Rooms were small and very basic. Only the front street facing rooms have windows.
