Perfect location, quiet, right on the beach. The beach was long and wide with fine sand, not busy or noisy, just perfect for relaxing.
The family apartment we had was not really worth the extra money compared to the other double rooms. The big terace unfortunately has no shadow and so really not possible to use it. I think it was the only unit (or among the very few) that did not have a shadowed terace. All other units around us looked really nice and chill, ypu could stay on the terace at midday and enjoy the beautiful garden and view.

The room was comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed. The staff were helpful and connected up to car hire.
The site is lovely and peaceful.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Villa Varich. The bungalows were clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and kind. The weather wasn't great while we were there so we didn't get to use the bikes/canoes but we had a lovely evening playing games and having a few drinks. It is situated a short drive out of Chumphon and was very quiet and tranquil. The two cats are very cute! Provision of cereal in the rooms was good.
Could do with some shelves in the bedrooms as there was a lack of storage options.
Breakfast was tricky to negotiate with the wasps, so we didn't bother on the second day! Might be better keeping the food inside.

The location is quite a way out of town, so you will need transport to do/ visit most things , they do provide free bicycles, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for and there was only a single bicycle that I was happy to use as the brakes on all the rest were next to useless.
The wet area had no shower curtain so water goes everywhere and the shower head had to be held otherwise it rotated in its holder to face the wall not the person trying to get wet in the shower.
The area is also insect paradise and you will have many instant mini friends who want to have a drink of you not with you.
And whoever designed the bed needs the prefix 'Bloody Stupid ' as it has a large shin- cracker all the way around on the outside. See pictures, the large wooden base that the smaller mattress sits on.
