Excellent accomodation very well maintained. Breakfast is fine.
I wish the hotel restaurant were open more often. The food in the surounding villages is not even up to Czech standards (where I live). And that is not saying much! Situated in an attractive wine growing area the locals seem to prefer beer and schnitzels with perhaps a glass of warm Lemberger from a bottle that had been open for days. Such a pity when compared with other wine growing areas of Germany which usually have a cuisine to match thier excellent wines. One for the village council to discuss!

It is very well set up in a modern and comfortable style. Bed room and bathroom well designed. Location good close to motorways. Breakfast is ok...just!
Its the second time I have stayed and the internet hasn't be operable on either.

Modern, well located. Comfortable air conditioned room, wifi that worked and good breakfast.
All facilities pertaining to the owners wines and vineyard operation were closed which was disappointing for a hotel calling itself "Vinhotel". It was explained that a rotation was traditionally practised between the vineyard owners in the village to ensure each got a fair share of custom. This meant the hotels bar and restaurant serving the owners wines and food were only open for five days each month. While this arrangement sounds fair and equitable the weinstube open that day (a Saturday in early August) to which I was directed could not cope with the volume of custom resulting in a very poor service situation with difficulty placing orders and even, in my case, receiving what had been ordered. Thus, while this practice may well work well in the low season it plainly does not at other times.
