Everything was great. My wife and I had lost some days after the car broke down 200 kilometers away but the property owner granted us 2 extra days to compensate the lost days. Also got the best rooms for our stay 🌟. Amazing breakfast and staff. Ocean is less than 5 minites walk within the property with a private strech all the way. Will always come back when in Watamu

A very nice and surrounded by nature B&B in Watamu. The location is perfect, away from the busy town center and directly behind the beach (which is really amazing on low tide). The Watamu Marine Park is very close. No beach boy on sight and you will be able to enjoy the beach and the ocean. The B&B has a small restaurant where you can also have lunch and dinner.
Restaurant may have long waiting times on specific orders.

The experience of staying at Watamu Beach Cottages was exceptional. There was direct access to pristine beaches. The food was great. Overall, a great experience.

The hotel is right at the ocean and has beautiful sunbeds looking over the dunes. I am sure, it is a really nice place, if you are renting one of the houses close to the beach with your own kitchen and so close to the beach.
I had one of the rooms above the restaurant, which was ok, but also not as nice as I had hoped.
What I didn’t really like was the communication with the manager regarding the payment. It felt quite unfriendly, almost a bit rude, without any reason.
Also I didn’t like, that the restaurant was quite unorganized. I ordered my food 1 hours earlier, like they had asked for. But when I arrived at 7 pm, I still had to wait for another hour. Also both of the times I ate dinner there, the cook gave me the feeling that I am annoying her, because I want to eat something and will make her work? 🤷🏽♀️ …I always thought, that is, what a restaurant is there for…
