A great little dive resort with super soft beds!

The mattresses and linens were soft and great! I also liked the outdoor Balinese-style bathrooms. The property was very clean, and the staff/owners were very warm and friendly. I'd love to go back and stay here again!

Good

Friendly, accomodating, and helpful staffs. Not crowded which was great for chilling and relaxing. Love the tropical vibe and the swimming pool design. They have a bar which offer beverages. Their coffee is good. They offer food menu for deliveries from nearby restaurants or eateries. Location is just few meters from the beach.

* Room: I understand the place prioritizes accomodation for diver's (not for staycation which I did) which they spend most of their time outside and just use the room to rest or sleep. I don't mind if the room is small or simple but it would be nice if it is regularly cleaned. - Wood frass on the bed which fell from the ceiling - Cobwebs and dusts on the wall, mosquito net frame, and console table - dim light option only * Shared Bathroom: I love the tropical bathroom design but I think it needs to be regularly cleaned as well. Not sure if beside or at the back of the shower area were guest rooms. I kinda got conscious if anyone from the second floor rooms could see me while using the bathroom or toilet.

staffs are nice and welcomed. the whole hostel vibe is good. and the hostel is just next to the beach for diving. highly

the vibe of the diving hostel is quite nice. especially in the night.

room is a bit humid, need to keep the window opened to let the room dry.

AMAZING!

It was beautiful and the atmosphere was relaxed and amazing! Really recommend if you want to dive around this area.

Keep in mind that you can only stay here if you are going to dive. We are both divers so for us it was amazing.

Disappointing

Nice outdoor area and really nice and big swimming pool. Better than photos. Able to dive App Island as staff helped me to book it with another hotel as they were not going there on that day.

Staff was not very friendly and everything they needed had to be done at that time, even making me hang up a phone call to answer them immediately. I stayed in the dorm and that's the review for it. No ventilation to bedroom, no aircon, stained sheets and towels, bathroom has no water on sink. The place is big but not clean. The attempt of diving the next day was horrible and not safe. We were taken by the current, got exhausted, unable to see each other with poor visibility and I felt like the DM was not prepared and also not checking on divers as often as he should considering the conditions. The dive was cancelled as us, the divers, didn't feel safe.

The location and staff are unbeatable. Bongo Bongo is a short walk from the beach, snorkeling and scuba diving tours leave from this beach. The staff were friendly, informative, and created a vibe that contributed to a relaxing and interactive stay.

Amazing stay!!

we had a very nice stay, staff is awesome and very accommodating! set up is beautiful, the pool was amazing. rooms are small but cozy, lounge area was great to hang out at. Amazing Apo Island Tour even for snorklers :)

Great dives to Apo island and a friendly, affordable resort near the beach with a great pool

Great dive shop with super friendly staff. The pool is so lovely to enjoy when not diving. There is a very friendly vibe and each night there were activities offered for guests and students. The mango smoothie is awesome and so were the dives to Apo island.

Comfy beds, hammock area, pool and lounge area, staffs, internet connection, very nice outdoor toilet and bath setup, new scuba diving equipments, patient and fun divemasters, and of course, their lovely and sweet dogs!

One of the best resorts in Dauin.

I like everything about this place. They have the friendliest staff! The pool was lovely too I just wish I was able to try it. The resort is very close to the beach as well. They also offer scuba diving lessons/activities. I wish I stayed longer.

My room runs a bit hot because the AC was quite weak or I just can't figure it out. There was a fan though so that helped. I just wish there was a bidet in the toilet. But if I love their shared comfort room. The outdoor shower was amazing.

Although the shower and bathroom were shared, they were very clean. They are without ceiling which was actually a nice experience and even gave a bit “resort vibes” Really nice pool Very charming staff and great diving center Overall, if you understand you are only sleeping in your room and spend the rest of the day outside it’s a great place and amazing value for money!

You need to climb to bed. I was okay with it but needs to take into consideration. Had only fan in the room and it was quite hot (didn’t ruin my sleep though). Also pretty dark. There is no food in the property, only drinks- so make sure to grab food in restaurants around. (and store it in the fridge not your room!) Outside the room at night make sure to use some protection for mosquitoes (:

good value for the money

The location was a short 3 minute walk to the beach. There were also several eating establishments within walking distance which is necessary since they did not offer food. The pool was also a big plus. The staff was very helpful in addressing my concerns.

Ants! Do not keep any food in the rooms! Store food in the shared fridge. The mattress was placed a few centimeters above the floor which was ok for younger people but harder for older people like myself. The a/c did not work very well. For best results, close the bathroom door since there is a small window in the bathroom that must remain open for ventilation purposes. May I also suggest more clothes lines out in the open so the hot sun can dry wet clothes a lot quicker.

Excellent service from the staff

The single/double fan room was okay. All the staff including the diving instructor/master were all very great and very helpful. Excellent service from all of the staff there exceeding my expectations. The public bathrooms were clean and the interior was aesthetically pleasing.

The mosquitoes :( But overall the condition was still great and I still have a decent sleep.

Perfect place to stay for diving

Great staff and beautiful facilities. The bed was super comfortable and the room was breezy. It was truly a relaxing trip, made extra special by friendly faces among staff and guests. They do not serve food, but they can get food delivered from nearby restaurants.

Very good

The place was overall amazing and exceeded our expectations. The room was beautifully crafted and complete with necessary amenities. The staff was welcoming and warm, and the drinks they offered were very affordable. Plus points for free wifi. Wished they had food but nevertheless, there are some food places nearby (They even offer delivery to Bongo Bongo). Walking distance to the beach.

Disclaimer: This is just a very very minor thing that didn't adversely affect our wonderful experience with the place :) --- There was a dead cockroach when we first entered the room. There were 2 live ones I killed in the bathroom (Probably because the bathroom windows were open). I wish the bathroom windows were also covered because I'm not sure if other people can see from the outside.
