No puedes irte de Samaná sin pasar por hacienda Cocuyo. Un alojamiento de ensueño con una de las mejores vistas de la isla. Dos piscinas increíbles, restaurante, coctelería, y desayuno incluido.
No hay persianas, por la noche puede ser complicado dormir ya que se escuchan ruidos muy fuertes de diversos insectos y por la mañana entra la luz muy pronto.

The view was phenomenal and the pools were sooo wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and complete.

Our stay at Hacienda Cocuyo was truly memorable. The location is spectacular, with breathtaking panoramic views that make every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. The breakfast was excellent—fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start each day while enjoying the incredible scenery.
As an eco-hotel, we experienced a few electricity interruptions, which we understand are part of the concept and didn't significantly affect our stay. We also found that sleep quality can vary depending on the pillows, so that may be worth keeping in mind.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the beauty of the property, its peaceful atmosphere, and the warm hospitality far outweighed them.

El hotel es precioso, para desconectar es excepcional. Las vistas son muy bonitas y las instalaciones en cuanto piscina y comedor muy bien.
Teníamos una reserva para 4 personas, éramos las únicas que se hospedaban en el hotel. Hay 24 habitaciones en total en el hotel, nos pusieron en una cabaña donde no estaba tpreparado para los bichos, solo tenían mosquiteros en las ventanas pero lo demás nada. Entonces entraba todo.. arañas, mosquitos, incluso hasta una cigarra, las mosquiteras no se cierran del todo.. y el baño parece que se iba a caer. Pedimos que nos cambiaran de habitación a lo que nos dijeron que no era posible teniendo 23 habitaciones más libres. Estos hoteles al final se hospedan turistas y es a quien deberían tener un poco de empatía en cuanto a comodidad y sabiendo que los bichos dan miedo, teníamos que dormir embadurnadas en spray antimosquitos. Por otra parte, el desayuno y la cena tardaban hasta 45min o 1h en servirlo.
