Trulli is Ago was honestly one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in. The property is absolutely incredible even more beautiful in person than in the pictures, which I didn’t think was possible!
Staying in a trullo felt like being in a fairytale, and it’s an experience I will never forget. The pool is absolutely huge, and during our 8-day stay we had it almost entirely to ourselves. After exploring Puglia all day, it was perfect to come back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
The location is fantastic, very close to Locorotondo and perfectly situated for exploring the area. We visited Locorotondo, Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Ostuni, Monopoli and Matera, and it was so easy to drive everywhere. The best part was always coming back to our beautiful, peaceful little corner of Puglia.
The area is incredibly quiet and feels very safe. We loved seeing the neighbours sitting outside their homes enjoying dinner, it gave the whole place such an authentic and relaxed Italian atmosphere. I honestly found myself thinking, “I wish I could live here!” ❤️
And the hosts are wonderful. Livia is absolutely fantastic — so welcoming, kind and helpful. Georgia prepares breakfast every morning with the biggest smile, which made us feel so welcome from the very beginning. They truly made us feel at home.
I honestly didn’t want to leave and could have happily stayed at the property for all 8 days without going anywhere! 😂 My husband made sure we explored Puglia, thankfully, but coming back to Trulli is Ago after every day out was one of the highlights of our trip.
If you’re thinking about booking this place, don’t hesitate — just book it! You will have an amazing experience. I’ve already gone home telling all my family and friends that they MUST stay at Trulli is Ago!
