A wonderful base-point for Sorrento/Amalfi

I cannot recommend Chalet Claudia more! Angela is a lovely woman, she gave us tipps on how to reach Sorrento. This small chalet looks and is very upscale and is located behind closed gates on this amazing property with lemon tree gardens. Right outside on the street you have the bus stop to Sorrento (on foot it’s 40-45€ minutes). We actually wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the facility, but we hat a tight sightseeing schedule. Thank you for everything Angela!

Best place to stay with the most loveliest host!

Angela is one of the loveliest people we came across on our trip in Italy. The property is so well kept, the chalet we stayed in was so spacious and clean, and honestly one of the best stays ever!!! Would HIGHLY recommend her place.

Perfect- would recommend to anyone and would love to come back and visit again. Grazia Angela.

We loved everything and was sad to leave. Have rented 3 properties during our stay in the south but loved Chalet Claudia the most. The grounds are stunning and kept immaculately, even picking up all the fallen lemons from the many trees. Angela is the most beautiful host we have ever had. She brought us fresh cakes most mornings and her family helped us book the airport bus (10 euros from the square). The chalet is spacious and beautifully furnished with huge comfy bed and bedding, 2 Really good Toshiba air con units. We loved Sant Agnello, was a train stop from busy Sorrento. We’d stayed 2 nights in Sorrento and was good to get away from the bustle. The Marinella is lovely for a sunbathe- can rent chairs and umbrellas reasonably and it’s a lovely place to swim. One great supermarket close to the train station. The bus back from Amalfi coast drops off in the main square- near Bar Italia. Chalet Claudia is a short walk to all of these.

This property is beautiful and amazing and Angela, the hostess, is a warm and wonderful owner/operator with a passion for making people feel welcome. She visited us to make sure things were good and brought us delicious pastries in the morning. When things went wrong, she worked to get them fixed. The grounds are beautiful and filled with nature. Angela made it easy to navigate and our language barrier didn't get in the way of us communicating. The property is close to Sorrento and there are many options in walking distance. The train station was also a short walk. This is a place we'd love to come back to one day!

Beautiful villa in a lemon orchard in a secure yard. Close to the grocery store and train station in Sant Agnello, and a view of the Mediterranean is only a few minutes walk. yo You can walk to Sorrento in 20 minutes, or take the train (5 minute train ride) and from there explore the Amalfi Coast. Angela is the most lovely host with a warm heart and beautiful smile. I highly recommend this place.

A highlight of our trip! The pastries were delicious too!

The perfect place to stay! We wanted to explore Sorrento but stay somewhere a little quieter. It was absolutely perfect! The outside area is beautiful and private, and the inside seems to have been recently renovated. It had everything we needed!

Perfect location and friendly host.

We stayed in the one bedroom bungalow, which was spacious for a couple. A bright and airy sunroom looked out over a private garden with areas for sun and shade. Plenty of seating and 2 sun beds. Entrance to private garden shown in photo. Nicely furnished and clean. Very peaceful and a good location for using public transport to/from airport and local attractions with nearby supermarket and restaurants. All within 10min gentle walking. We arrived in the evening on Easter Sunday when shops were shut. Our considerate host provided food/beverages for a simple evening meal and breakfast.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about this property.

normally we would have been active out and about but we had TERRIBLE weather so sad.. wished there would have been a Smart TV so we could have had some entertainment.

Angela is a super host. She was extremely hospitable. Our Italian was limited so she had an English speaking friend Tony

Location, space, fresh pastries and fruit from Angela everyday. communication from Angela was very good!

the only thing I would say and is you have to pay for the swimming pool and it’s not directly on the property.

We loved everything about our accommodation. Private house with own private garden filled with both lemon and lime trees so you could pick your own for your G&T's. The house was in the grounds of the owner Angela with stunning landscaped garden. Entrance to drive was via remote control gates with key fob, all very secure. House was comfortable, spotlessly clean with everything you'd ever need. All cooking utensils provided. Angela would bring us fresh pastries each morning for breakfast. Perfect location. 10 minute walk to supermarket and railway station. Bus stop on main route to most places across the road. 2 minute walk to beach and scenic views across the bay of Naples. 20 minute stroll into Sorrento Ctr. Every Monday there is a market on the road, literally at the end of the drive.

There was nothing not to like. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing place for a peacefull rest. The house in a lemon garden is like in heaven. Here you will find everything that you need: very comfy bed, kitchen, tables and chairs outside. The place is in a near proximaty to the city. Im very thankfull for such hospitality!

Our host was amazing. She brought us fresh pastries every morning. She also left us a bowl of fresh fruit from her garden which was delicious. The property was surrounded by lemon trees which I made fresh lemonade with every day. The location was perfect. Every evening we walked 5 minutes to the Mediterranean to watch the beautiful sunset. The house was perfect and was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals when we didn’t go out to eat. We will never stay anywhere else when we return to Sorrento area.

An oasis in a busy area

The gardens are like paradise. The property is spacious and clean. It was very well equipped, one of the best we had with all washing liquids etc. Angela is extremely thoughtful and kind. She brought us pastries in the morning and fruit from her garden. Extremely well located for bus, trains and shops.

Could do with a small plunge pool to cool off.

The location was great for us! We didn't want to be in busy Sorrento and wanted to be in a peaceful retreat whilst being able to get back quite easily from excursions on the bus and train! The garden was absolutely stunning filled with lemon trees and the chalet was private, clean and comfortable - definitely perfect for couples. The host is super lovely and sometimes came by with pastries and smiles which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!
