Amazing mountain lodge feel to the exterior and location. Incredible service from super cheerful staff. Beautiful roaring river to the rear, when we opened the window at night to star gaze we could hear wild boar across the river :) Delicious simple dinner (bacon, eggs, potatoes), nice breakfast too.
We had a room for two adults and two early teens. The double bed for the adults was very creaky which did disturb our night’s sleep. That’s the only fault to mention.

Plenty of parking, east to find, and the setting right next to a river is beautiful.
No wifi despite claims otherwise. I went down for breakfast at 9am and the diner was locked.
