The Bluenose apartment is located on the first floor of the Royal Dalhousie and benefits from two entrances: one on the river side and the other on the parking side, in the back courtyard.
This gives you direct access to the magnificent Place des Canotiers and its summer fountains. You can also stroll along the St. Lawrence River, especially in winter, when the wind and tides change, and admire the strength and power of the ice floes floating on the water.

The spacious and oversized apartments at the Royal Dalhousie have generous windows offering a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River and Place des Canotiers. An ideal place to have your coffee, get together for a happy hour or admire the fireworks on festive evenings. The Royal Dalhousie apartments with free WI-FI connection have huge common areas such as a living room with HD smart TV and HD receiver. A large dining room to enjoy your meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen with appliances (fridge, stove and 30-inch dishwasher), small electrical appliances (double coffee maker, toaster, food processor and slow cooker), cookware and cooking utensils. kitchenware, cutlery and glasses. Très fantastique! Royal Dalhousie is a wonderful building that has been beautifully converted to apartments. The location was perfect to walk to everything in Quebec City. The owner, Monsieur Gregoire Biron greeted us upon arrival and even gave us excellent walking directions to the Metro supermarket. The unit had a grocery cart and lots of reusable shopping bags.Le Bluenose worked well for our group of five. Lots of natural light, very comfortable beds, two and a half bathrooms (the listing only mentions two, so it was a bonus to discover an extra half!). The only drawback was that the third and smallest bedroom was hot compared to the rest of the apartment, even with the wall unit off. The central heat in that room works almost too well. Perhaps there is a way to dampen the vent? All in all it was a wonderful apartment for our week in Quebec City. I hope to return next summer and stay there again.

The online pictures don’t do enough justice to this beautiful VRBO. It’s a lovely blend of historic and modern in all the right places. The kitchen was well appointed and the bathrooms were enormous. The host was easy and kind. The location is excellent for sightseeing and shopping. I would definitely recommend renting this place!

Charming, spacious, clean unit that we all enjoyed. The owner personally greeted us and gave us a tour and explained the history of the building and his passion project to restore it over several years.If we visit this city again, we will definitely try to stay here!
