I had visited friends staying at the property on previous trips, so when it came up for my two night stay I jumped at it.
I loved being on the top floor as I like fresh air so had the velux windows all open, if in the ground floor apartment you can’t really do this.
It really is home away from home and the hosts are easily contactable.
Some restaurants were shut at the beginning of the week and an amenity pack was there if you needed it with a small charge for each item which was a great idea.
Wasn’t a problem for me, but beware the second stair case is tight and steep, and being in the roof space, you need to mind your head - again not a problem for me in the slightest but others might need to be aware.

Lovely apartment, thoughtfully decorated and comfortable beds. Very well equipped and excellent value for money.
The only downsides were it was very warm as it’s on the 3rd floor, hence lots of stairs too. We would stay here again and recommend it.

The apartment was delightful. Lovely decor and well equipped. It seemed to me our hosts had thought of everything and I could imagine enjoying a longer stay. It was quiet and close to the village shops and the church nearby was worth a visit. The stained glass windows were very beautiful. Our bikes were safely locked up in the garage.
Our only problem was locking the door each time we left the apartment. We’re not sure why we struggled with it.
