Had a deluxe room. Newly renovated. Very spacious, awesome shower, bed comfortable. Couldn’t complain at all with our room.

Great location in the centre of town, within walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. The room was modern, clean, comfortable, warm and very large. Way bigger than I was expecting. The deep stand alone spa bath was also very enjoyable and relaxing. The shower was a decent size with a big rain shower head.
Unfortunately being a pub and in the centre of town, the place got very noisy with music and drunk people till the very early hours of the morning and the noise travelled up into our room. It was very difficult for my partner and I to get any sleep while we were away, even with ear plugs, particularly on the Saturday night. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable and sagging in parts. There was only a little wire rack on the wall to hang clothes, a proper wardrobe to hang coats and jackets would be beneficial. The service received from some staff at the restaurant was woeful. Very rude and stand offish, like they'd rather be somewhere else. The food wasn't that good either for what you paid.
