Casa Leona was our favourite place that we stayed at in Costa Rica. The property was clean and in great location to walk everywhere including the night market on Thurs night. The breakfast that was included was delicious, lots of choices and big portions. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel even had beach gear that we could borrow at no extra charge. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The price is fair. The breakfast is included and pretty decent! The flower tree is beautiful!
There’s no hot water from the rain shower at the night we spent. I was too tired to get it fixed so just shower with cold water… the location is a bit far from the see but still walking distance. it’s just the road condition is not ideal for walking. the room is spacious just the cleanness need to be aware of details

Breakfast was perfect. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. My room was cleaned everyday and it was spotless. Security at the location was well done. It is far enough away from the main strip but close enough to get.
I will be back.

the room was as shown in the photos
it was extremely noisy we struggled to sleep and there was quite a few bugs in our room each day. The staff were unable to accommodate our special request at breakfast as they couldn’t speak English although I had put in the request before arriving as was told this won’t be a problem. I am vegetarian and ended up with a ham and cheese omelette given to me. There also did not appear to be any gluten free options presented to us. When I asked the concierge about the laundry service he advised to provide a tip, there was no exact cost. However, when I spoke to one of the cleaners she tried to say it was $1 per item.
