Great location also for a business trip.

The room was located at the in the old town of the city, very near to the city center and the "heart" of Split. The room was spacious and very clean and the check-in procedure was very simple. Very good free wifi access. Communication with the hosts was really professional and without any delays. A solution could also be found for getting my breakfast, out of the ordinary breakfast times. The breakfast location was not in-house but in a nearby cafe/bistro, with exceptional quality. I would definitely suggest this location and would very much like to visit it again in the future.

If I could mention something that I did not like, that would be perhaps the price of the venue, which could be a bit less expensive. But the overall impression was very good!

Beautiful room in a great location. Walking distance to everything. Good communication from hotel regarding check in and the likes. Very clean in the room.

The rooms are located in an apartment building which is common for the area. However, it is not secure. The door to the building is left unlocked and anyone can enter - this is a particular issue at night when it’s quite dark on the staircases. This was made very clear to us when we returned one night to find a person had defecated just inside the entrance (it was very clear it was human). It was cleaned the next day. While this issue isn’t specific to Bernadi Rooms, this obviously led us to question the cleanliness and security of the building overall. Installing PIN code access to the building would alleviate this issue. Access to rooms themselves is very secure however.

Great room and location, pity about the noise and check in!

The room was an ideal location close to the main city gate. It was clean an newly renovated.

There was a self check in process a few days before arrival, where you had to upload a photo of your passport and then a selfie for each person. After doing this we were promised a link to our self check in, this was never sent. On the afternoon of check in, still nothing, I sent an email and a message, no reply. we were sitting outside the property, so I phoned and was told that the room was ready, that the link and code for the key box would be messaged on booking.com in 15 minutes. it was but what a palaver! And then on top of that despite the pleasant room, the noise levels were awful as it is above a bar, it went on until 4 or 5 am. Luckily I had ear plugs but my husband didn’t. Bring some!!

didn’t like it - don’t recommend it

easy communication with staff via WhatsApp location is central in the old town

we had the worst stay. the people in the unit above for 2 consecutive nights were walking up and down non stop and given the old floorboards the noise was unbearable. if felt like the ceiling was going to come down. we didn’t sleep for the 2 nights we were there. the bed is uncomfortable. not enough hot water for a decent shower. you need to wait for the heater to warm the water up. can’t access by car given the old town is pedestrian area only. the unit is on the 2nd floor and there are a lot of stairs (no lift) to get there. they charge you a AUD 150 deposit fee for potential damages. you can only get the access code to the unit once you pay the fee with credit card

Great location, beautiful rooms.

Location was great. Room was a good size and decorated beautifully.

Communal area of the building was very run down dark and dirty. On arrival at night when entering the building there was excrement on floor. The bed was very uncomfortable.

All in all a very nice hotel.

We did love the location, it was close to everything that we needed. It was a very cosy room. The people working there was so Nice and helpful. And the breakfast was amazing.

Our room did not get cleaned once on 6 days. Also it was no balcony, that i missed. And something to hang all the wet towels on.

Excellent choice in Split

Lovely room with stone walls and plenty of light. Modern furnishings. The room was second floor above a busy plaza. People were partying until early morning. But room was very quiet.

Perfect for a stay in Split

Perfect location for exploring split old town. Joseph was such an amazing host from start to finish. We were delayed arriving and he was standing outside as we arrived. He also helped us store our bags and came to meet us ready for our ferry. The room itself was great, spotlessly clean and even had an interesting historical wall in the bathroom. Would highly recommend to anyone.

There was no TV connection available in our room! Poor internet supply, especially in the evenings! No extra pillow and blanket in the room!

The host is very helpful and kind and location was very good as well! Perfect walking distance to everything and we had a wonderful stay thank you :)

It was very difficult to block out the light from the streetlamp outside the room during the night as the curtains were letting the light in (but this does not mean it is the same for all rooms, just ours in particular).

New, close to Diocletian Palace

Structure is pretty new and a very good value for money. Walking distance from Diocletian palace and everything else in Split. Nice and helpful staff (Ida). We also appreciated the free water and beer left for us in the fridge!

Great stay.

Great location right next to the old town. Very modern and clean rooms. The staff were very helpful and would reply quickly to any questions we had.

The bed was a little creaky which was a annoying as it made a loud noise whenever my husband moved during the night.

Two days in Split

The location of the property is phenomenal, right on the edge of the city walls. The property is clean and fresh in its interior. We were able to drop our bags off earlier and the property also managed to organise a transfer for us to the accommodation, from the airport. I would definitely recommend the property for its location …

Sadly the shower was regularly cold….this may have been because of the boiler or something we were doing wrong?! I’m not sure.

Lovely bright apartment next to Palace

Host was lovely and very helpful. Kept in regular contact to make sure we had everything we needed. Room was spotless and had a nice view onto the palace walls.

Good aparment, old and dirty building

The room was good, located in the city centre, just 5 minutes from the palace. The host very kind and helpful

The description doesn´t say anything about the building where the aparments are located. The building is very old and dirty, full of graffiti and in the night there was a motorbike parked inside the building so it was very welcoming. Also the fridge and the water heater are noisy so we had to swicht them off.
