Very amiable, joyful and helpful landlady who, in response to my questions, gave me advice and recommendations on where to go and how to get there.
I was fortunate to have my room upgraded from a single bed to double bed.
The microwave in the room was an unexpected pleasant surprise.
Other guests were quiet, no late night or early morning disturbances.
Overall a nice comfortable well decorated guest house.
Street traffic was little, not unduly noisy during the day and quiet overnight.
Very close to the promenade, town centre and metro station.
Cafes and restaurants very close for breakfast.
An ensuite would have been icing on the cake but, for the facilities, location and price, I was well satisfied.
Although a little more space would have been better, especially for a couple, I was using the room for sleeping, plus an hour or so at each end of the day, not using it to spend the day in.

No breakfast included but tea and coffee available in room, very friendly and welcoming, very clean.
Shared bathroom facilities but due to layout of property understandable and acceptable.

Clean, comfortable and near the beach and town centre. Wendy was bubbly and shared invaluable local knowledge of amenities.
