We loved our stay on Hamilton Island. The unit was comfortable and had Incredible views from the balcony. The location was great and close to walks, the beach, restaurants and pools. We loved being able to drive around in the buggy. The staff who picked us up and organised our airport transfer were super friendly and informative.
No washing machine in the unit. There was a communal washing machine on the floor below. Information about the laundry facilities would have been good including : accurate cost and advice to walk down 1 flight of the Fire stairs to access the laundry.
Access to the unit, by using a very obvious code, was NOT secure.

The view was amazing and overall the apartment was very comfortable. Furniture was in excellent condition and the apartment was very clean. The use of the buggy was good although we had some rain so got a bit wet using it. The lady that checked us in was excellent giving local information. The pool area is well kept with plenty of loungers. Easy to walk to the harbour and some beautiful walking tracks which start right by the property. Whale watching from the balcony was lovely to see.
The kitchen space was the only aspect which let it down for us. The oven has been replaced by a microwave/oven which is a basic model and doesn’t brown or roast so very limited what you can cook in there and misleading in the facility advertisement/photos. Certainly difficult to cook a main meal if that is what you’re expecting to do.
As many have said the shower pressure is poor and temperature is difficult to control but we got used to it in the end.
There are no washing facilities available.
The positives however well outweigh any of the unfavourable aspects.

The top floor apartment had an amazing view over Catseye Beach. Lots of extras in the room

Location and view were exceptional. Buggy was very good
A bit grubby, 50 cobwebs/ static dust hanging from bedroom ceiling.
Bathroom powerpoint, broken and glued to fix, glue now darkening with age.
Numerous floor tiles cracked or chipped in living areas.
