The guesthouse was clean, and I had the place to myself for a few of the nights! Shuji was incredibly kind and shared wonderful recommendations with me. I left a necklace at the house and he overnight shipped it to my next place - above and beyond hospitality! The area as close to an awesome place to watch the sunset too.

The owner was amazing. He is friendly speaks English well & very helpful. The accommodations were of a traditional Japanese style. Very clean. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Good location, easy check in, the owners/house keepers are nice and the kitchen area was nice. I was happy to have a safe, warm place to sleep.
Unfortunately the house reeked of cat dander/pee, especially the second floor where my room was located. Also the room is teeny tiny, so small you can barely get dressed there. And the bathroom on the second floor does not have a sink, so you have to go downstairs to wash your hands. I can deal with most of these things, but the smell is inexcusable. The people running the house were very nice, but please do something about the cat smell.
