I honestly don’t think there are enough stars on Booking to express how I felt during my stay at Cinnabar Resort.
I stayed in a treehouse during the first week of September, during the off-season, and it was simply incredible. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had found a little piece of paradise. I have never stayed somewhere so peaceful and surrounded by such beautiful nature.
The treehouse was absolutely amazing. Waking up with a view over the Indian Ocean and the beach, with a hammock right there to relax in, was an unforgettable experience. It was everything I could have dreamed of for a stay in Sri Lanka.
The whole place has such a special atmosphere natural, peaceful and incredibly relaxing. The staff were wonderful and took such good care of me. Everyone was kind, welcoming and attentive. The food was also really good, which made the experience even better.
I genuinely regret not being able to stay longer. If I could have extended my stay, I would have done so without hesitation.
Cinnabar Resort is 100% an address I will come back to on my next trip to Sri Lanka, and it is also a place I will recommend to all my friends and family. I absolutely loved it.

We loved the friendly staff and they gave us an upgrade to the beachfront treehouse. The view was divine and breakfast was really amazing with lots of additions to the usual breakfast including fresh juice.
If you have any immobility issues the treehouse is not for you!

Stunning "Beach tree house" with the crashîng waves of the Indian Ocean as backdrop. Great staff. Try the buffalo curd and ginger tea with jaggery. Seared tuna delight!
