The property was east to find, there was a car park although small and the location was good. There was an information book in the room which was useful to look at for things to do in the area.
It was very basic but had everything you needed.

The location is superb it is right in the heart of a beautiful village, with great views.

Our room was nice and warm
There’s is a lovely bar. But as it was quiet we went out.

The location was great for hill walking and exploring the local area. The stay was pleasant, the bed was firm but comfortable enough. There was a good choice for breakfast on the pre order menu. We did have a lovely view by the window though at breakfast
There could have been more tea bags, milk and coffee sachets in the tea tray in the room. The pre order breakfast menu was a little over complicated with a confusing numbering system. Perhaps just having a tick box system would have been a bit simpler. Sadly the plastic casing was also left on the black pudding and the vegetarian haggis on both mine and my partners breakfast. I didn't feel there was value for money
