Excellent property for a night or two exploring the region. Away from the hustle bustle of the motorways
No restaurant nearby but you can use the kitchen onsite instead.

We had a very spacious suite in this beautiful property which is obviously well-loved by the owners. It was like being welcomed into a friend's house with the hostess showing us around & telling us some of the history. The kitchen facilities, for use by the guests, were excellent & very welcome. Parking was ample as was the breakfast which was served on the lovely terrace. The house overlooks the Vienne & we got shown around the grounds by the owner's handsome dog.

Friendly welcome from the hosts and their lovely dog Rocky. Helpful dinner recommendations even when most local places are closed. Secluded location with a great view over the river Vienne. We even saw an owl driving back to the property after dinner. Breakfast on the terrace was great with jars of fresh fruit as well as pastries and fresh bread.
Awkward lock on bathroom.

The Chateau was very well presented, retaining all the charm of a French mansion. The owners were superb, welcomed us on arrival (along with Rocky a friendly Belgian Malinois) and gave us an exceptional breakfast. Bread, cheeses, yogurts and homemade jams - delicious!
The location is very peaceful and made an ideal stopover for our journey from UK to The Dordogne.
