Amazing location at the beautiful jemeluk bay, amazing ocean sunrise view and best snorkeling spot in Amed (imo) in front of the door. Lovely staff that make delicious food. Some rooms have better working ACs than others and sometimes the bathroom can have some odeur. My place to be when I come to Amed, fully recommend.

I believe Sunrise only has three rooms, and we booked all three. Every room has a lovely view over the ocean and bay, with the most amazing sunrise!
The rooms are basic, with a bed, private bathroom and air conditioning. The bathrooms are a little dated, but for the price, I honestly have no complaints.
The family were all so helpful and were lovely hosts. Sadly, there was a big swell and the sea was very rough during our stay, so we weren’t able to do the snorkelling tour we had hoped for. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have hesitated to go out with Nyoman.
We also had all our washing done while we were there. It was a good price and ready very quickly.
When we were paying at the end of our stay, I accidentally left my camera on the desk. They called me as soon as they realised to let me know, which I really appreciated.
If you’re happy with basic accommodation and great service, I would 100% recommend Sunrise. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location. We often walked to the other side of the bay as it has sun loungers which are free to use and calmer water to snorkel but it’s not far to get to.
I didn’t realise how walkable everything was here - easy to get into the town or up to sunset view although we did hire a scooter from a place a few days down to get around for a few days
I missed having a lamp and a kettle - although I did ask for hot water a few evenings and was no problem for them
Doors are hard to lock but it’s in a homestay and does feel really safe

the most necessary things like a bed, shower, toilett were there. oceanview from the room and friendly owning family.
no cleaning during 4 nights. no soap, no trashbin inside the room. not very clean.
