Location the owner is always accessible and welcoming.
1 member of staff trating Europeon guest preferably over other guests.. Which concluded with pork on my breakfast plate for the first time in over 25 years.

Apart from the occasional rubbish it is a lovely beach location. I always go there to chill out and have something to eat whenever I am visiting The Gambia. Very reasonable price for staying including a tasty breakfast. They've recently built a fence at the beach front presumably to discourage casual use of the beach sun beds so I felt a little hemmed in but I understand why they've done it..The people that run the place are lovely and helpful.
The room was very small and the whole place is a little tired looking and could do with a coat of paint. The description says air-conditioning but in truth there is only actually one room that has Aircon and you have to request that specifically when you book. I don't usually like Aircon but It would have been great in such a small room. They did supply a fan though but there wasn't much fresh air circulating. It was rainy season so the mosquitos were crazy in the evening. A mattress protector would be good instead of just a thin sheet on top of a well used mattress.
