The sleeping pots were spacious and gave a significant level of privacy. The bath was large, clean and overall very well maintained. The location is superb.
The beds are rather hard and as there are over 60 sleeping capsules in one room it does get a little crowded.

Everything was excellent. It’s 10/10. Unlike other similar places Hotel M has few rules making it such a relaxing place to sleep and chill. Facilities are top notch and generous with an onsen thrown in. Good coffee tea for free.
Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Allow us to store our luggage at a reasonable charge. Price ratio is so fair. Will definitely go back if I visit Matsumoto again. Free towels pyjamas changed daily.

The close walk to the train station. The friendly staff. Clean.
Unfortunately I think the air conditioning was turned off or was not going during the night as when we went to bed it was cooking. Had to have my portable fan going all night. No clothes on or blanket.woke up several times just too hot. It was so hot and it felt like I was suffocating. When I woke up in the morning it was a bit more comfortable as the air conditioning was going. I think the Day staff came in and we're like oh we didn't turn it on last night and turned it on. We didn't get any explanation either or apologies
